ABOUT LIBRARY
Our library is the heart of our institution and serves as a key resource of information for the entire academic community. Established in 1984, the library is well-ventilated and features a spacious reading room designed to support study activities. It is located on the 2nd floor and spread over an area of 1320 sq. ft.
The College Library is an important center of learning, research, and academic support for students and faculty. It provides a quiet and comfortable environment that encourages reading, studying, and knowledge exploration. With a rich collection of books, journals, digital resources, and well-equipped study spaces, the library supports both curricular and co-curricular activities.
Library rules
- An Identity Card is compulsory for entering the library.
- Two books will be issued to each student for home lending for 7 days (one syllabus/textbook and one general reading book).
- After 7 days, students must return or renew the books; otherwise, a fine of Rs. 3/- per day will be charged.
- Students must take proper care of the books. Do not mark, write on, or tear pages of any library book.
- Complete silence must be maintained in the reading room. Students who disturb the environment will be fined Rs. 50/- or punished as per library rules.
- Students must switch off their mobile phones inside the library and on the college premises. Phones of students who violate this rule may be temporarily confiscated.
- Students must enter their names in the entry register when entering the library.
- Eating, drinking, and chewing gum are strictly prohibited inside the library.
- Library computers must be used only for academic purposes. Misuse of the Internet or systems may lead to disciplinary action.
- Reference books, periodicals, and newspapers are for reading inside the library only and cannot be issued.
- Library staff instructions must be followed at all times.
