IQAC first meeting of academic year 2025-26
The first IQAC meeting for the academic year 2025-26 will be conducted in the Principal’s office, Dr. T. K. Tope Night College, Parel, Mumbai, at 5:00 pm on Thursday, 19th June 2025. Presence of all members of the IQAC is solicited. Following is the agenda for the meeting:
- Welcome to the new Principal and ex-officio Chairperson of the IQAC.
- Revision of the Academic calendar according to the suggestion of the Principal.
- College Foundation day programme review.
- Suggestions about monthly teaching plans by the Principal.
- Any other relevant topic may be raised during the meeting with the permission of the Chairperson.

Minutes of the meeting

The first IQAC meeting for the academic year 2025-26 was conducted in the Principal’s office, Dr. T. K. Tope Night College, Parel, Mumbai, at 5:00 pm on Thursday, 19th June 2025.
Agenda and Meeting proceedings
- Welcome to new Principal and ex-officio Chairperson of the IQAC:
Prof. Shubharaj Buwa formally welcomed the newly appointed Principal to the institution and introduced all the IQAC committee members. The Principal assumed the role of the ex-officio Chairperson of the IQAC for the remainder of the 2024-26 term. - Revision of Academic calendar according to the suggestion of Principal:
The Principal reviewed the tentatively prepared academic calendar for 2025-26 and suggested a few strategic adjustments to accommodate upcoming co-curricular activities and internal evaluation dates. The committee unanimously agreed to incorporate these revisions. - College Foundation day programme review:
The committee discussed the planning and execution of the upcoming College Foundation Day. Various responsibilities such as guest invitations, stage management, and student performances were discussed, and preliminary committees were proposed. - Suggestions about monthly teaching plans by Principal:
The Principal emphasized the importance of structured academic delivery and suggested implementing a standardized format for monthly teaching plans. Faculty members were instructed to ensure these plans are strictly adhered to and regularly updated. - Any other topic:
Prof. Prakash Sawant raised a point regarding the streamlining of the admission process for the first-year students, to which the administrative team assured full technical and on-ground support.

Action Taken Report
Date: 5th July 2025
Based on the agenda of the 1st IQAC meeting held on Thursday, 19th June 2025, the following actions were taken:
- The Academic Calendar for 2025-26 was officially revised to include the Principal’s suggestions and has been circulated among all heads of departments and displayed on the college notice board.
- Organizing committees for the College Foundation Day have been officially formed, and specific duties have been allocated to the respective teaching and non-teaching staff members. Foundation day was celebrated successfully on 20th June 2025.
- A new, standardised template for the monthly teaching plan was drafted by the IQAC and emailed to all faculty members for immediate implementation starting this academic session.
