Alumni Meet – T.K.T. College, Parel, Mumbai 2025-26

At the outset, Principal Dr. S. B. Karande warmly welcomed all the dignitaries, faculty members, alumni, and students present for this memorable occasion. His inspiring words set the tone for the program, highlighting the importance of alumni in strengthening the bond between past and present generations of the college.

This Alumni Meet was successfully organized by Dr. (Prof.) Prakash Sawant, whose dedicated efforts and meticulous planning ensured the event’s success. His contribution in bringing together alumni from different batches is truly commendable.

Dignitaries such as Dr. Pandagale Sir and Prof. Kajabe Sir , Prof. Gautam Gamare Sir, Prof. Shailesh Dhandore Sir were also present and added grace to the event with their esteemed presence. Their interaction with the alumni and current students created a meaningful and engaging atmosphere.

  1. Mr. Arjun Kachare – TYBCom 1999
    Currently working in the service sector with BEST, Mr. Kachare recounted his journey from being an enthusiastic commerce student at T.K.T. College to becoming a dedicated public service employee. He expressed immense gratitude towards his professors for instilling in him the values of discipline and perseverance, which helped him overcome several challenges in his career. His story emphasized the importance of hard work and humility.
  2. Mr. Kiran Gujar – TYBCom 1995
    A successful Chartered Accountant, Mr. Gujar shared how the foundational knowledge and motivation he received from his college days played a crucial role in his academic and professional success. He recalled the supportive environment of the college and spoke fondly of the commerce faculty, who guided him towards the CA path. He encouraged students to dream big and stay consistent in their efforts.
  3. Mr. Vilas Anna Ghadge – B.A. 1999
    Currently employed as a Security Guard in the Municipal Corporation, Mr. Ghadge is also actively involved in social work through his association with Pagdi Ekta Sangh. He spoke passionately about how the college not only educated him academically but also helped shape his values and social consciousness. He shared emotional memories of his time in college and emphasized staying grounded and connected to one’s roots.
  4. Mr. Laxman Shelar – B.A. 2011
    Serving in the Bombay Port Trust (BPT), Mr. Shelar highlighted the role of the college in shaping his personality and communication skills, which proved essential in his career journey. He praised the teachers for their dedication and emphasized the importance of extracurricular involvement in college life. His journey from a student to a well-settled government employee deeply inspired the audience.
  5. Mr. Ajit Vengulekar – Batch of 1995
    Presently associated with Procter & Gamble (P&G), Sindhudurg, Mr. Vengulekar offered insights into the corporate world and how his academic foundation at T.K.T. College helped him adapt and grow. He shared anecdotes from his college days that reflected camaraderie, teamwork, and lifelong friendships. His advice to students was to build strong fundamentals and stay adaptable in the fast-changing job market.
  6. Mr. Manish Pathre
    A dynamic personality engaged in banking, politics, and social work through Parijat Sanstha, Mr. Pathre brought a multifaceted perspective. He spoke about balancing professional responsibilities with social commitments and how the values instilled in college helped him remain focused and community-driven. He encouraged students to be socially aware and contribute meaningfully to society.
  7. Ms. Aruna Kharat – 2021
    One of the youngest alumni speakers, Ms. Kharat is currently working as an Anganwadi Sevika. She expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the college for its continuous support, especially during the difficult period of the COVID-19 pandemic. She shared how her teachers motivated her and gave her the confidence to pursue a meaningful career in early childhood care. Her words resonated deeply with the students, showing that even recent graduates carry the college spirit forward.

The Vote of Thanks was proposed by Prof. Shubharaj Buwa Sir, who expressed deep appreciation to the Principal, dignitaries, faculty, alumni, and students for their enthusiastic participation and for making the Alumni Meet a grand success.
