NEP training programme participation
A two day workshop was conducted jointly by the Malviya Mission Teacher Training Centre, University of Mumbai and RUSA Maharashtra on “NEP 2020 Sensitization – Train the trainers”. The programme was hosted by Sathye College (Autonomous), Vile Parle East, Mumbai on 4th and 5th March 2024. Prof. Shubharaj Buwa and Prof. Sandip Kajabe attended the programme on the behalf of Dr. T. K. Tope Night College.
Similar programme was organised at Sonopant Dandekar College, Palghar. Principal Nagesh Suryawanshi attended the programme.
Dr. Ashwini Torane and Dr. Supriya Yadav attended the programme in Kirti college.
Prof. Pankaj Pandagale completed the training online.
University of Mumbai is in the process of preparation for implementation of the NEP 2020. Boards of Studies of various departments are in the final stages of preparation of the syllabus for their respective courses.
In the academic year 2024-25 all affiliated colleges of University of Mumbai will implement NEP 2020 for BA, BCOM and BSc degree programmes. Certificate, Diploma and Degree will be issued to those students who complete their first, second and third year courses successfully. This is a multiple entry and exit system. Those institutions which already have a PG programme can go for the fourth year honors degree programme. Others will have to apply for these extra facilities.
