Not only did he work\u00a0extensively with Ambedkar in the drafting of the Constitution,\u00a0but also served for several years on the Law Commission of\u00a0India and wrote over twenty books in his lifetime.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">An educationist par excellence, he served as the Principal of\u00a0Government Law College for seventeen years. His reputation\u00a0as an intellectual stalwart led to him being appointed as the\u00a0Vice-Chancellor of the University of Mumbai.
