The Indian Foreign Service<\/strong> is a diplomatic<\/a> civil service<\/a> under Group A and Group B of the Central Civil Services<\/a> of the executive branch<\/a> of the Government of India<\/a>.[3]<\/a><\/sup>[4]<\/a><\/sup>[5]<\/a><\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n The service is entrusted to conduct diplomacy<\/a> and manage foreign relations of India<\/a>.[6]<\/a><\/sup> It is the body of career diplomats<\/a> serving in more than 162 Indian Diplomatic Missions<\/a> and International Organisations<\/a> around the world.
