Green - other parties (1)AAP in Delhi, (2)Trinamool Congress in West Bengal, (3)Telugu Desham in Andhra Pradesh, (4)Telangana Rashtra Samiti in Telengana, (5)Biju Janata Dal in Odisha, (6)BJP + PDF+ in Jammu and Kashmir, (7) Sikkim - Sikkim Democratic Front, (8) Nagaland - Naga People's Party (friendly relations with BJP) (9) Tamil Nadu - AIADMK (10) Bihar - Janata Dal United

Saffron - BJP - (11 to 23) Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Haryana, Chattisgarh, Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Manipur, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Goa

Blue - Congress - (24 to 29) Karnataka, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Pondicherry, Mizoram, Meghalaya

Red - Communist Party of India (Marxist) - (30, 31) Kerala, Tripura

White - Union territories - (32 to 36) Chandigarh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, Daman, Dadra and Nagar Haveli - Delhi and Pondicherry have elected state governments though both are Union Territories.
